Team Management
Team and Firm plans support multiple users within a single account. As an admin, you control who has access, what they can do, and how claims are assigned.
Roles
Claim Atlas has three user roles:
- Admin — full access. Can manage users, change settings, view all claims, delete data, and access billing. The account owner is always an admin.
- Adjuster — can create and manage claims, upload files, add notes, and generate reports. Cannot manage other users or change account settings.
- Viewer — read-only access. Can view claims and reports but cannot create or modify anything. Useful for office staff or supervisors who need visibility without editing.
Inviting team members
Go to Settings → User Management and click Invite User. Enter the person's name and email. Claim Atlas generates a unique 6-character invite code and displays it on screen. Share the code with your team member — they'll use it at the invite redemption page to create their account.
Invite codes expire after 7 days. You can generate a new one if the original expires.
Seat limits
Each plan has a maximum number of users (seats):
- Solo — 1 user
- Team — up to 10 users
- Firm — up to 25 users
If you hit your seat limit, you'll see a prompt to upgrade your plan. Contact us if you need more than 25 seats.
Permissions
Admins can fine-tune what each adjuster can do beyond the default role permissions:
- Can delete claims — off by default for adjusters
- Can manage files — control who can delete uploaded files
- Can export data — control access to data export features
Deactivating users
If someone leaves your team, deactivate their account from User Management. Deactivated users can't log in, but their notes, files, and activity history are preserved on the claims they worked.
